Thank you for visiting and shopping at Faraway Crafts. Following are the terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping Policy.
We also provide free shipping to the UK and Channel Islands on orders over £75. For the rest of the world we offer free shipping over £100.
All products are shipped via Jersey Post regular mail. If you would like to discuss expedited shipping or recorded delivery please email us email@example.com prior to making your purchase.
Shipment processing time
All orders are processed within 7-14 business days. Orders are not shipped on bank holidays. We will always do our best to process orders before the estimate shipping time.
If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.
Customs, Duties and Taxes
Faraway Crafts absorbs the tax for your products where tax is due at the time of shipping. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.). Import taxes, duties and related customs fees may be charged once your order arrives to its final destination, which are determined by your local customs office. Payment of these charges and taxes are your responsibility and will not be covered by us. We are not responsible for delays caused by the customs department in your country. For further details of charges, please contact your local customs office.
Faraway Crafts is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim.
Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.
Return & Exchange Policy
Thanks for shopping at Faraway Crafts.
Our returns policy lasts 28 days. If 28 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
There are certain situations in which refunds couldn’t be granted which includes, but is not limited to
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
Any item that is returned more than 28 day after delivery.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days (approx. 1 week).
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at email@example.com
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
